Join Artist Nanette Madan for a fun-filled, short workshop in Shibori dyeing, a traditional Japanese resist-dyeing technique fpr fabric. Learn how to create a cloud pattern called "kumo" and turn your material into a flying bird, using a binding technique — no sewing required! Suitable for adults and children (with adult supervision).

Your fee includes all materials and hot drinks on arrival. Workshops are based in our Garden Studio. Take time after the workshop to relax and explore the arts centre and wildlife garden, learn about the Florence Mine site and enjoy our Fair-trade coffee and teas.

Our centre is wheelchair accessible with parking on site, ramped access to the studio door and level throughout. We have an accessible toilet.
