  • Florence Arts Centre Egremont, England, CA22 2NR United Kingdom (map)

Let’s celebrate the River Ehen in Egremont!

Join artist Daniel Weatheritt and West Cumbria Rivers Trust on a watery walk by the river Ehen and then get involved in our creative sessions to help design ‘river totems’ - colourful sculptures inspired by nature. Both are FREE events.

Walks and creative sessions are on

October Friday 11 or Saturday 12 or Monday 14

You may wish to create on a different day after your walk - that’s fine! All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Walk: 10am-12 (meet at the benches by Old Bridge on South Street). This is an outdoor event and will take place in all but extreme weather conditions.

Create: 1pm-2:30 At Florence Arts Centre CA22 2NR

Call Florence Arts (Wednesday to Sunday) for more info and to book: 01946 824946

ACCESS INFORMATION:

THE WALK follows the road down Old Bridge then joins a footpath between the allotments and the river, continuing along the riverside. We will walk as far as the group wish to and double back the same way. There are kissing gates on the route and the path is narrow and sometimes muddy in places so unfortunately not suitable for anyone on wheels. You will need sturdy walking shoes and clothes to suit the weather.

CREATIVE SESSIONS are at Florence Arts Centre which is wheelchair friendly and has an access loo and baby changing.
