This relaxed workshop is based around the book “Fun with a Pencil”, by Andrew Loomis. Andrew was one of the most famous American illustrators and arguably more famous still for his series of drawing manuals, of which “fun with a pencil” was the first. From a starting doodle of a badly drawn circle he goes on to show how characters can be created by building upon simple forms. Through a gentle progression of instructive drawings we are lead on a journey filled with encouragement and humour. Suitable for 16 years+ Bring your own pencils and paper if you’d like but we will supply a good range of materials.
