We are a participatory arts centre located at the site of an old iron ore mine in Egremont. Come on over to explore, make, do, or just relax in the cafe or garden:

What’s on highlights

Winter Storytime with Jessie McMeekin - £5 per family

  • Take some time to get away from phones and iPads and come together as families for some quality quiet time listening to traditional folk tales on a winter theme. Bring a blanket and snuggle up together for some cosy interactive stories! Best suited for ages 3 to 8.

Acoustic Session - Free or Food £8pp

  • Come and join us for a demonstration of our paintmaking practice and have a go at rolling your own pastel. We use traditional methods to create high quality artist materials.

Enjoy a cafetière of Fair Trade coffee, a mug of Cumbrian Tea, local baking, sweet treats and snacks, soft drinks or a beer from the Ennerdale brewery. Our cafe is dog-friendly and always warm and welcoming.
