We are a participatory arts centre located at the site of an old iron ore mine in Egremont. Come on over to explore, make, do, or just relax in the cafe or garden:

Animal Magic Play Days - £3 to £5

Take some time over the Easter holidays to bring the family to our Easter Playdays at Florence Arts Centre! On BOTH DAYS enjoy Play with Clay, Building Indoors/Outdoors, Storytime, Outdoor Trails, and Drawing Time. On Wednesday book places for Pet Encounters! On Thursday book ceramic panting!

A chance to celebrate textiles of all kinds - especially vintage, preloved and reused. We’ll have stalls selling wares, a clothes swap, workshops, and more!

Re-Fashioned Textile Fest - Free Entry

As a part of our Re-Fashioned Textile Fest, Nanette Madan will be hosting a taster session of Felted Jewellery. Using only your hands, soap and water you can create individual, bespoke pieces, including a brooch, necklace or bracelet.

Enjoy a cafetière of Fair Trade coffee, a mug of Cumbrian Tea, local baking, sweet treats and snacks, soft drinks or a beer from the Ennerdale brewery. Our cafe is dog-friendly and always warm and welcoming.
